He said they would not accept the American ambassador on leave to Ankara, on a farewell visit, and accused the US of creating problems regarding the mutual suspension of visa granting.

Erdogan said the question is whether the decision to suspend visas was Ambassador John Bass' decision.
The US yesterday announced that they have stopped granting non-migration visas to its diplomatic representatives in Turkey, following the arrest of a consular official.
Last week, Turkish authorities arrested the US Consulate official of Turkish nationalism, due to links with the US-based Fettullah Gulen network.
The Turkish government has accused Gulen of lagging behind last year's try-pucci.
