At a press conference, Durres Police Director Alfred Chepe announced the successful finalisation of two operations undertaken by the coastal town's blue uniforms in the last 24 hours.
In operations codenamed “Consistence” and “Misheq” were seized heroin, hashish, amount of money and mobile devices, while three citizens and 31-year-olds have been arrested in the background and prosecuted in free condition.
In the operation, codenamed “Persistence”, citizens have been arrested in the background honouring Mona, 52, and Arjan Abdelini, 20, both residents of Durres, while launching criminal proceedings in free condition for 31-year-olds with the initials of E.R.
Police say that during physical control and at the residences of the above citizens, 117-pound heroin and 18 prepared doses of this heavy drug were found and seized in the quality of material evidence. Also seized was an electronic balance, 400,000 new coins, and 11 telephone cameras.
In the next operation, codenamed “Misheq” and undertaken in Kruja, 64-year-old Lik Kabil, a resident of this city, was arrested in the area.
During the exercise in residence and territory around his residence, police have found and seized in the quality of the materials evidence of 22.5kg of hashish, divided into five sacks.
Police say that in co-operation with the Prosecution are continuing investigations into the discovery of other authors involved in this criminal activity. Materials in charge of arrested citizens and prosecuted passed the prosecution for further actions.
