On Monday, Nisa police effectives destroyed a network of Albanian-run prostitution, while investigations into this network of international branches follow, local media report.
6 Albanians, suspected as pimps, were imprisoned
The 6 Albanians, who were placed under prison arrest without deadlines, seem to be running the network. The method that Albanian pimps used (the identity of which is not disclosed by local media) was known to police: They put the girls in different Nice neighborhoods to prostitute. The girls were forced by pimps to live in rented apartments in slums along the Thiers train station.
Prostitution Money Sent to Albania
Initially, 17 people were arrested, three men and 14 females between 26 and 40 years of age. But during the interrogation, each one's role began to become clearer. Eleven women were released in midweeks, considered by investigators “victims of violent pimps”. Girls who were exploited as prostitutes went to Nice from the bologna of Italy, or even from Toulouse, Paris, and Strasbourg.
During raids on apartments, the effective ones found 15,000 euros in KESH. Bank transfers indicate that pimps regularly sent the money to Albania.
Violence
Tutor men, sometimes rape the disobedient “girls, deprived them of their identity documents, while Toral women were the ones who bought the money from prostitution. This case shows how Albanian organised crime has taken control of street prostitution in part, an investigator from local media was quoted.
