On Saturday, she spoke to conservative youth, where she said the real face of forming government is expected on Sunday. Merkel already officially announced coalition talks with the Liberals and Turkey. For the first time after the significant losses of the conservative union, the CDU/ CSU in the Bundestag elections on September 24th, German Chancellor Angela Merkel appeared before a broad party public. Following the loss of the union, the head of the conservative Youth Union for Bavarina, Hans Reichhart, asked for a full exchange of Chancellor Merkel's course.
According to him, the union parties suffered “a major failure”. We are for the right and center, “but we don't want to be open from all sides”, Reichhart stressed at the youth union conference. Chancellor Merkel, meanwhile, has officially announced talks on creating the coalition known as “Giajka”.
At the youth union meeting, she also said that a possible coalition between Liberals and Greens would establish a party congress, CDU. With that, Merkel accepted the request of the youth union seeking the party's vote for coalition. At Dresden Merkel said, there is no other option, “since it is clear, that the SPD for a specific time at the federal level is no longer capable of governing.” The youth organisation of the CDU and CSU has asked before the three-day conference, sharpening the conservative account and personnel changes after the election losses. Youth Union head Paul Ziemak said Friday evening that the CSU and CSU must quickly iron out their differences over the maximum refugee border, in order to start coalition-building talks with the Green Liberals early next week.
