The Central Election Commission, on the official site where it is publishing real-time data on recent statistical changes to the October 22nd elections, has made a mistake for the municipality of Ranilu, writes Periscopi.
Thus, the absolute winner of the elections in this municipality is estimated to be the Nikic Graduate of the Serbian List. But there's a big mistake here.
This, after then president of Ranillug, Nikic, lost his life a few months ago in a road accident on his way to Nis.
The Serbian List candidate for Ranilug in the October 22nd elections has been Vladica Aritonovic.
The ballot in which Ranilugu's citizens were able to vote was the name of Aritonovic, who, according to the CEC results, turns out to be the winner of the 77, 62 per cent vote, writes Periscopi.
From the CEC, they have said that Mikic's name still figures on the table where statistics are being provided for the Ranilug municipality and all of this as a technical error.
Valmir Elez, spokesman for the CEC, has told Periscope that the ballot in Ranilug has been okay, but the technical error on the CEC's page has failed to improve.
It's just a technical mistake we've missed on the CEC's page, but on the ballot, it's normal that was his deputy, so the candidate of the Serbian List as before, and citizens there have been able to vote that candidate, Elez told Periscope.
