The Kosovo family Gerjaliu, after eight years, risks being expelled from Belgium because the Belgian state claims their documents are not in order.
“We are at risk of being deported to Kosovo from the state of Belgium because we are told that our documents are not in order” has said Blondie, the oldest child in the Gerjaliu family.
She studies at the Hostest Management Department in the city of Bruges. Her sister Blodiana is 17 and has a brother who is only 13 years old.
School students attending Blediona organised a protest action of 400 students in Ostende City Leopold Park, who marched with flags, plaques and balloons against leaving their friend's school and state.

These people are like us, they do the same things as us, they go to school, work and develop lives like us, they have friends here” said the protest leader, Blodia's friend. “We are angry and we will worry if planning to expel them is groundless”.
Such great support, and this protest has taken place for the first time at the school in Blodiana, they supported what they did not leave school.
I feel very proud and very grateful for this massive support from school students”, Blediona said.
