Spanish Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy announced Friday the dissolution of the Catalan parliament and called for early regional elections in a swift response to the Catalan parliamentarians' declaration of independence.
The sting began when the Catalans voted to separate from Spain in a October 1st referendum that had been declared illegal by the Spanish authorities.
A political crisis can only be stirred through dialogue. We call for a peaceful solution with respect for national and international order
