Crímenes de guerra contra el M serbio de la Vitomirica de Pec

The Special Prosecutor of the Republic of Kosovo has filed charges against indictees M. J, of Serbian Nationality, from the village of Vitomirica, Pec Community, due to well-based suspicion of having committed the crime of war against the civilian population, sanctioned with Article 142 concerning Article 22 of the Criminal Law of the Socialist Republic [...]
The defendant is charged that during wartime in Kosovo, between January 1998 and June 21, 1999, in the village of Ozdrim of the Peja municipality, as a member of Serb police and military forces with the date 07.05.1999 originally surrounded the village of Ozdrim, and then launched a military-copic offensive shooting at the civilian population, with which civilians of Albanian nationality were killed (19).
As the prosecution reports, investigations have provided sufficient legal evidence proving the well-based suspect that the defendant in co-ordination with other members of Serbian police and military forces has participated and contributed to the criminal offence he is being charged with.
This criminal case has already passed the Special Department of the Foundation Court in Pristina for further procedure.
