Trump: US killed Venezuelan gang leader in an air strike

U.S. President Donald Trump has announced that the US Army has killed Hector Ruthenford Guerrero Flores, known as “Nino Guerrero”, leader of the Venezuelan criminal organisation Tren de Aragu, in an air raid co-ordinated with Venezuelan authorities.
Under my orders, the South Command of the United States carried out a quick and deadly attack, successfully eliminating Nino Guerrero”, Trump wrote on social networks.
Guerrero Flores was the leader for many years of Train de Aragu, one of the most notorious criminal organisations in Latin America and one of the main objectives of the Trump administration.
Washington, as writes BBC, has declared this group a foreign terrorist organization and accused it of international criminal activities, including drug trafficking, human trafficking, and other serious crimes.
Trump also published images allegedly showing the moment of attack, where it sees a building being hit and detonated. He stressed that the operation was conducted in close co-operation with Venezuelan authorities.
Venezuelan authorities also confirmed their participation in what they described as a “joint operation” against criminal elements.
Nino Guerrero was considered one of the most wanted criminals in Latin America and had faced charges in the United States of terrorism, drug trafficking and organised crime.
