Ismaili Bridge: Albin Kurt's loved ones have bought electricity from Serbia, and Kurt has protected them

The deputy head of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, Uran Ismaili, has criticised incumbent Prime Minister Albin Kurti, linking the energy issue to Martin Berisha's case.

Ismaili has mentioned an OECD report, under which electricity expenditures in Kosovo during the period 2021,2024 have reached 2 billion euros, while he said that in this period the country has not had policies that solve the energy problem.

He has also spoken of the case of Martin Berishaj, who he said was the prime minister's close “and that, according to him, he received hundreds of thousands of euros from the Serbian company GEN-I.

The prime minister's close <x0th man in office, Albin Kurti, has received money from Serbia's GEN and has withdrawn it from Kosovo banks over 600 thousand euros. According to laws in Kosovo, he had to be investigated on the day he pulled them before”, Ismaili said.

According to him, Kurti in this case did not act as announced in the opposition. Albin Kurti has protected abuse, protected favourability. I had been waiting for Albin Kurti of the past, who has been able to give speeches that day to seek investigation by the prosecution. But he went out and protected that person”, declared Ismaili. / Periscope/
