Ali Ahmeti reacts to Kurt: You've been informed wrong, you're doing the workman of evil.

In a public reaction, Ahmeti said his concern is national and not party, stressing that some attitudes are undermining the historic achievements of Albanians.

Dear brothers and sisters, tonight I want to express another concern, not party, but national. Some of us in Skopje, but also in Pristina and Tirana, knowingly or not, are making it to the bad worker. ”

Addressing Kurti directly, Ahmeti praised the historic importance of the Ohrid Agreement, which he said has been the basis for advancing Albanian rights and one of the foundations of processes related to Kosovo citizenship.

Dear Albin, the 2001 Ohrid Agreement is the cornerstone of Ahtisaari's plan for Kosovo independence. For this agreement, blood also spilled our brothers from Kosovo and Albania. ”

Ahmeti stressed that the agreement, though compromise, has brought great benefits to Albanians in northern Macedonia.

With this agreement, I left this country with official Albanian, official national flag, with three universities in Albanian, with over 25 thousand Albanian managers, with Albanian Prime Minister, with Albanian Chief Parliamentary and endlessly Albanian-run state institutions. ”

He also recalled institutional co-operation with Kosovo during the time it was part of the government.

According to Ahmeti, the lack of political legitimacy has direct consequences for Albanians.

At the end of the response, the DUI leader raised concerns about Serbia's influence in Northern Macedonia, criticising Ivan Stoilkovic's appointment to the post of minister responsible for implementing the Ohrid Agreement.
