I'm an Albanian, I have a deed of my own”, this is the person who was brutally beaten during the Zvrinec protest.

Edward Subashi, who was brutally beaten by private guards during the protest in Zvrinec, said that as Vlora citizen had come out to claim his right, for a property he said he owns with documents.

Subbashi said the established fence resembles the situation in Palestine, adding that both Albanian and Greek citizens have been blocked by the village route he lives in.

Subbashi added how he is also about 300 other citizens who have not been informed of the project in Zrinec.

I was just wondering why that fence was put there and why the village road where we came from was closed. I am a resident of the Gervenec. I am an Albanian and Greek citizen. I didn't come from someone. I've come because I've had my own deed since 1991. I am a beneficiary of 5701, a land of my great grandfather. When was that siege of Palestine put on? Because it reminds me of watching things on TV. We were not informed by anyone about the project. When the fence was set up, I found out. All residents have their own possession, with documents. I know I have my land there, all my countrymen have land there. There may be about 300 residents. No choice anywhere. Wherever we crash, they say there is no law, we have the earth in use. They don't give us documents in Zrvenec, it doesn't come out of any office. After being shot, then the police went in and pulled me back into”, said Edward Subashi, writes TCH, broadcast Periscope.
