Albania's Kosovo convict transfers

Kosovo Police, the Directorate for International Police Co-operation, in co-ordination and in co-operation with other relevant Kosovo Police units and justice institutions, have successfully realised a (1) transfer of a convict from Albania to Kosovo.

With the date 1205.2026 has been transferred from Albania to Kosovo, Kosovo citizen R. F. Condemned in Albania's state for criminal work: Trafficking in arms and ammunition in co-operation, envisioned by Article 287/a of the Republic of Albania Penal Code, where the same after the transfer, has been handed over to the Kosovo Correctional Service to serve the remainder of the 3 years and 9 months imprisonment and 28 days in prison, after some of the sentence had suffered in the Albanian state. The transfer was made through the Vmica border point under strict security measures.

The transfer was realised thanks to co-operation between the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo and the Republic of Albania.
