Rama with clarification to Italian media following Hoxha's statement: Agreement to continue as long as neighbouring country wants

“All journalists from Italy and beyond, who are contacting about a distorted quote reported by a media after an interview with Albania's Foreign Minister: Let me re-inflate it, clearly and I hope once and for all, that our protocol with Italy is here to stay, as long as Italy wills”, Rama said, reports TCh, broadcast Periscope.

This response came after Foreign Minister Ferrit Hoxha, in an interview for Euractiv, said: “First, it's for five years and I'm not sure if there will be an extension. Second, there will be no extension because we will be members of the European Union. /Periscope/
