According to journalist Sacha Tavolieri's reports, the agreement between the Portuguese coach and the Madrilen club has already been reached, while only official announcements by the parties remain.
Mourinho is currently part of Benfya, but his contract includes a removal clause allowing them to leave against a threem-euro fee.
The return of “The Special One” is seen as a real Madrid effort to restore stability after a difficult and non-trophy season, where the team has faced sports problems and internal tensions.
For Mourinho, this would be the second adventure in “Santiago Bernabeu”, after he led the Madrillians even in 2010,2013. During that time, Portuguese won the title of La Ligas and the King's Cup, leaving significant tracks at the club.
He is expected to replace Alvaro Arbeloan, who failed to bring trophys during the team's direction. The return of Mourinho is considered by many media as an attempt to restore discipline and competitiveness to the Madrile team.
