A Montenegrin municipality with declaration has abolished Kosovo recognition decision

Montenegro's Zeta Community Assembly has adopted a declaration with which the decision to recognise Kosovo has been abolished.
The session is stressed that Montenegro's previous institutions, since the country's declaration of independence, have ignored, according to them, the will of a part of Kosovo's status citizens, reports rtcg.me.
The statement also contains political assessments of the situation of Serbs and Montenegrins in Kosovo, claiming their position has deteriorated under the current institutions in Pristina.
With this act, the local Zeta Assembly has symbolically called for the annulment of the decision on recognition of Kosovo on the part of Montenegro, though such decisions belong to the state level.
Otherwise, Montenegro has recognised Kosovo on October 9th 2008.
The decision was made by the then Montenegrin government, led by Milo Djukanovic, about seven months after Kosovo's February 17th 2008 declaration of independence.
