June 7th elections: Over 59 thousand registration applications from the diaspora

The period of voter registration application outside Kosovo is continuing, which is starting May 6th and will end on May 17th.
Central Election Commission spokesman Valmir Elezi has told Clankosova.tv that from the start of this process, and so far there are over 59 thousand applications.
“On the basis of data, from the beginning of this process and so far (to Tuesday, May 12, 2026, 10:00, via electronic platform http://diapsora.kqz-x.org has been accepted 59,415 registration requirements, of which 49,493 have been approved, while another 4,944 have been refused and 4,957 are pending for the review of”.
“From 49,493 approved applications, 11,782 Kosovo citizens are registered to physically vote in diplomatic representation, 1,325 are registered to send the checkout package to the CEC mailbox in Kosovo, and 36,386 are registered to send the package with a ballot in the mailbox outside Kosovo”, Elesi said.
As he indicated, countries with the largest number of voters registered for the June 7th elections are: Germany is followed by Switzerland, France and Sweden.
“The most registered number of voters are: Germany (24,624), Switzerland (11,063), France (2,172), Sweden (2,058), Austria (1,508) and United Kingdom (1,337), US (1,115) and Italy (1,046)<1>.
