A video published by the US Department of Justice shows the moment when a group of about 20 masked robbers broke into a California jewelry store and managed to collect goods worth over $1.4 million in less than a minute.
The robbery occurred in June 2025 at the jewelry store “Kumar” in Fremont. According to authorities, the event was carried out by an organized group that used hammers to break up shop windows.
Images show some vehicles stopping outside the store as masked men rush down and rush into the interior. Carrying backpacks, they quickly break window windows and receive a large portion of the exposed jewelry.
According to American media, robbers managed to get about 75% to 80% of the goods in the store. Within about 70 seconds, they received jewelry worth over $1.4 million and left with vehicles waiting outside.
Authorities described the event as a <x0-year-old Mafia style”. Investigations were difficult after cars used for escape resulted in theft, which made it harder to track authors through security cameras.
However, a police patrol managed to stop one of the vehicles that the traffic had violated. As a result, four young men between the ages of 19 and 20 were arrested, while two were later released after the case had not yet been sent to court.
