His arrival has announced the prime minister's office, but without giving too much detail. The meeting between him and Kurt will take place at 8:30 this Saturday.
Sorensen's visit to Kosovo comes two days before the Law for Foreigners and the one for vehicles will begin to be fully implemented.
Representatives of the Serb community in Kosovo have complained about these laws, since they are expected to be affected the most.
Under these laws, all those who do not have Kosovo documents will have to be equipped with residence permits, while vehicles with foreign license plates will not be able to circulate in Kosovo longer than three months or only under authorisation.
The complaint on this issue has also been sent to Brussels by official Belgrade.
In late February, the director of the Office for Kosovo in Serbia's Government, Petar Petkov, told Sorensen that strict implementation of these laws would jeopardise more than 10,000 Serbs living and working in Kosovo.
Serbia's parallel systems in Kosovo work or study citizens of Serbia, who on March 16th will have to have work permits or residence permits and application for these permits is problematic since Kosovo recognises Serbia's documents.
