In an interview for Serbian news agency “FoNet”, Ulutash said KFOR's value lies in its visible and flexible presence on the ground, impartial access to all communities, and the role in creating space for political dialogue.
KFOR's added “Vlera is triple, we have a visible, flexible and appropriate presence throughout Kosovo, we have an impartial approach contributing to a safe environment for all, and we continue to offer room for political dialogue. KFOR mandate is based on UN Security Council Resolution 1244 and does not have a deadline. Any decision on KFOR's future belongs to the North Atlantic Council, NATO's decision-making body. KFOR will continue to adapt to the need and will remain an essential part of the international community's efforts for sustainable security in Kosovo”, he said, broadcast Klankosova.tv.
In this direction, KFOR commander also said that NATO fully supports the dialogue mediated by the European Union for normalising relations between Kosovo and Serbia.
