Two people from Italy, one wanted for attempted murder and the other for serious theft,

Kosovo police have announced the extradition of two people from Italy, who were wanted by Kosovo's justice institutions. At the Police's announcement, it is known that the fugitive A.B. was wanted for the hard work, while J.K. was required for attempted suicide and illegal weapons maintenance. Extraded by Italy to Kosovo, two fugitives with international paper alignment, as the same had avoided justice
Pristina on March 14, 2026
Kosovo Police, the Directorate for International Police Co-operation, in co-ordination and co-operation with other relevant Kosovo Police units and justice institutions, with dates 12 and 13 March 2026 respectively, have successfully carried out the extradition from Italy to Kosovo, both wanted through INTERPOL with international paper issued by Kosovo's justice institutions and that the same were arrested by Italian authorities.
By 12.03.26, extradition of the fugitive A.B. has been carried out, since Kosovo's justice institutions were required for criminal work “heavy recovery”.
As of 13,03.2026, the fugitive J.K. has been extradited, since the same of Kosovo's justice institutions was required for criminal acts “attempted murder and non-licension”
Both extraditions were realised based on laws in power and close co-operation between institutions of the Republic of Kosovo and those of Italy.
Following the extradition, the suspects surrendered to relevant police units in Prizren's Mitrovica region, respectively.
