Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti has announced that Justice Minister Donika Grovall has been appointed co-ordinator for protection from domestic violence, violence against women and gender-based violence.
In a Facebook text, Kurti said that “This appointment strengthens institutional commitment to preventing and addressing violence.
“Ministers Gervalla-Schwarz I wished success in this task of particular importance, expressing confidence that with the dedication and institutional responsibility this position requires will continue strengthening mechanisms for protecting women and girls from any form of violence.
Work on addressing domestic violence and violence against women and girls does not stop. The government of the Republic of Kosovo remains committed to strengthening prevention, defence and justice for all women and girls” He said.
