According to the State Police report, the action took place within the 87th phase of the police operation codenamed “Operation”, which aims at apprehending internationally sought persons.
During the operation, police services deliberately arrested the extradition to Kosovo citizen F. St., 36, born and inhabited in Fushesh-Cruille.
According to authorities, the Gjakova Court in Kosovo, with the decision of March 14th 2023, has sentenced the 36-year-old to 2 years in prison and 550 euros in fine for criminal acts “unauthorized possession, distribution and selling narcotics, psychotropic substances and analog substances” and “Illegal crossing of the border”.
From that sentence, he has to serve another year, four months and 10 days in prison. Police suggest procedures for his extradition to Kosovo follow.
