Prince William has been through a very difficult time after his wife's illness, Catherine, was discovered after an abdominal operation in 2024. According to a new book for the royal couple, he has been deeply shocked by diagnosis and has experienced it with great excitement.
A family friend has shown in author Russell Myers' book that William's reaction was very strong: “was like being hit by a bus, unexpected, brutal, and totally confusing. One moment life was normal, and in another everything changed... It was heartache, fear and infirmity at the same time.” According to him, William has stood by Catherine at every step, and his devotion has been steadfast.
However, the couple's greatest concern has been the welfare of their three children Prince George, Prince Charlotte and Prince Louis. They have calmly explained the situation to their children and have told them that everything else will continue normally, while Catherine will need a break after returning home.
During hospital time, Catherine has kept in touch with her children through video calls. Meanwhile, William has taken on more responsibilities at home, such as sending children to school and organizing activities for them with the help of Catherine's family.
According to friends, Catherine is very grateful for William's support, who has remained strong for the family even in one of the most difficult times in their lives./Periscopi/
