According to the prosecution's request, from December 13th 2025 to February 19th, 2026, in Prizren, the defendants allegedly acted in co-ordination, contracting a substantial amount of property in exchange for the other person's services, exploiting the serious financial situation and the inexperienced B.K.
The prosecution suggests that the injured had borrowed from Berisha, while the amount was secured by Gashi on condition that it paid monthly interest of 100 per cent.
After failing to return the sum, the injured had asked for an extension of the payment deadline by July, but the defendants have extended the deadline for only a month, putting it in a position to fulfill the financial obligation. Then the injured man called the police.
During the investigation, the Constitutional Prosecutor in Prizren has seized cash, electronic equipment and other material evidence related to alleged criminal acts.
The prosecution has stressed that it remains committed to the fight against criminality, strengthening rule of law and bringing to justice all who conflict with the law.
