This is professional cleansing”: Foniqi -Kabashi reacts sharply after journalist Avdiu leaves RTK

Reporter Blerta Foniqi -Kabashi has reacted sharply after failing to follow up on the work contract for her colleague, RTK journalist Edina Avdiu, calling the case a direct blow to the bold in the editorials and “professional cleanup” within the public broadcaster.

“Edine Avdiu's work contract was not extended at RTK, except because it showed courage, not bias, which unfortunately today is the main criterion not to be met. This is professional cleansing”, writes Foniqi -Kabashi in her reaction, linking Avdiu's departure to refusing to obey ordered texts and selected chronics.

According to her, Edina Avdiu is leaving RTK just because he was among the few who refused to accept the tégi served propaganda at the expense of the public broadcaster's editorial policy. “Edine will no longer be part of RTK, because it was among the few who dared to refuse to read the text ordered, prepare the detected chronics, and, above all, become part of the editorial policy violation of public broadcaster”, she points out.

Foniqi -Kabashi underlines that this evacuation occurs at an extremely sensitive moment for the journalist. Therefore, Edith remains outside RTK today, just when she expects to become a mother for the first time, she writes, placing the case both in human and moral plans, not only professional.

However, it points out that today's expulsion does not determine the future of Avdiu, nor of those who refuse submission. “Today, she may feel disfellowshipped, but tomorrow will be for Edith and any other Eddie who says no to submission, professionalism, dignity, and humanity.
