This is the “text prepared by the ruling party's offices” for Dimal Basha that RTK journalist said she agreed to read.

Reporter Edina Avdiu has announced that the Kosovo Radio Television work contract has been suspended in the fifth month of pregnancy.

She wrote via a Facebook post that the decision is not linked to her performance, as she had received positive assessments during three years of engagement in news editors, but, as it states, is the result of political pressure and intervention of editor-in-chief's task officer Blerim Hadziaj.

The journalist has stated that disciplinary procedures had been initiated against her by the same task officer, but that she won through the RTK Ad Hoc Commission, which abolished the decision previously made.

Avdiu further says that after this process, pressure and internal interventions continued, where her departure linked her to refusing to read a text that, according to her, was prepared at the office of the ruling party on the day that Dimal Basha was elected chief speaker several months ago, which she said refused to read.

She admits that not reading this text is one reason why the public television work contract was cut off.
