Annu Prattipati, charged with work by the United States of America in Kosovo, has congratulated Kosovo on the Independence Day case. “This year, as Kosovo marks the 18th anniversary of independence and the United States celebrates their 250th anniversary, we stay together as Kosovo continues to build a secure and [...] future.
“This year, while Kosovo marks the 18th anniversary of independence and the United States celebrate their 250th anniversary, we stay together as Kosovo continues to build a secure and prosperous future”, she said through a message published in the Instagram.
According to her, the US partnership with Kosovo started even before independence in 1996, when the United States opened their first office in Pristina.
“Since then, we have been standing next to Kosovo, supporting its democratic path, which lays the foundation for the future. We look forward to expanding our co-operation in trade, investing and strengthening security ties, to the benefit of both our countries. We welcome Kosovo's commitment to international peace and continue to encourage a multiethnic and democratic future for all its citizens”, she said.
