According to the Albanian Road Authority's announcement, despite intervention with cleanup brakes, road opening work has become impossible, as avalanches are still active and pose risks to workers and vehicles.
For this reason, traffic circulation in the Qafe Thores area has been banned to reduce rainfall activity and cut off avalanches.
