Interior Minister Albana Kociu reacted today after the opposition protest, where Molotov throw and clashes with rule forces were recorded. In her statement to the media, Kociu stressed that violence is not a solution and that any of its incentives by opposition leaders is unacceptable.
Minister's reaction:
We condemn any encouragement of acts of violence by opposition leaders.
We urge protest organisers to appeal to sympathies to avoid acts of violence and keep minors away from any act that would endanger their lives and citizens.
Violence is not a solution!
Violence is a show of despair by those who instead create scenes that endanger the lives of citizens, policemen and journalists.
Those young men and women involved in acts of violence are neither heroes nor valiant ones but the abuses of those who pathologically continue to resort to violence, unable to build up an alternative other than destruction.
