Information has recently been released that organised groups of men are distributing without permission pictures and videos of girls and women in Kosovo. This form of virtual abuse is becoming one of the most frequent crimes being committed to girls and women currently. As we stand in solidarity all of them, we bring them back to the attention that beyond symbolic solidarity, we are willing to help you on your way to justice. Our Guard is at the disposal of anyone who is the target of gender-based violence. We're here to fight alongside you for relief from abuse. Write us down, or share it with anyone who might need help in the police reporting process”, wrote Syarina.
Also, the “Life Line” has said that they are staying with the girls and women affected by the distribution of their intimate photos and videos.
The Life Line is with the girls and women affected by the distribution of intimate photos and videos without their consent. This is a legal offense and a form of digital violence. Above all, it can have serious effects on the emotional state of the affected, causing anxiety, fear, shame, and isolation. The lifeline is here to provide support. You're not alone. It's not your fault. If you are affected by this situation, the Life Line can be your safe space, where you will be heard and supported”, writes the “Life Line”.
