A person has been arrested in Malisheva under suspicion that he has forged the results of the vote during the election process.
According to Kosovo Police's 24-hour report, the suspect, Kosovo male, had exercised the commission's task of counting votes for MPs.
He allegedly manipulated the results during this process.
The event occurred yesterday, around 08:30, while the arrest of the suspect was carried out on February 22, 2026. After the interview, at the order of the prosecutor of the case, he was sent to the maintenance.
“Malishevo 23.01.2026-08:30. In the case, in 22.02.2026, the Kosovo male suspect, who had been chairman in the election process of counting candidates' votes for deputy, has been arrested. After the interview, with the prosecutor's decision the suspect has been sent to the maintaining”, the police report said.
