I thanked Ambassador Orav, chief of the European Union mission in our country, for his congratulations on the institution of the 10th legislature and the formation of the Government, as well as the approval of the European Union's Growth Plan, which is of immense value to our Republic of 882.6m euros. Of these, close to 30 percent are grants, while over 70 percent are loans”, Kurti said.
The first executive underlined that the EU is Kosovo's reliable partner.
“Also, I repeated the pledges of the Republic of Kosovo that our state will be, as always has been, a reliable and serious partner of the European Union. We consider the European Union to be a peace and security organisation, where we want both to contribute and benefit. For this it is necessary to get candidate status and questionnaire from the European Commission, which will help us speed up the reform agenda, which will undoubtedly be the priority of our government”, Kurti stressed.
