Kurti in AKI: The pillar intelligence of sovereignty, support continues with budget growth

He confirmed that AKI has had the government's continued support, and will continue to have it growing its budget for it.

“Day, I had the pleasure of visiting the Kosovo Intelligence Agency (AKI), where I was received by Director Mr. Petit Ajeti, the executive staff and other officials,”, wrote Kurti on Facebook.

The “Visita was realised on the occasion of celebrating the 18th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Kosovo and the 17th anniversary of the AKI establishment, with the chips shared certificates for new officials, as well as inaugurated a modern object at the AKI complex”.

“Intelligence remains one of the most important links in protecting sovereignty, ensuring that our Republic is prepared for any challenge and makes informed decisions”.

“Within our priorities to support the security sector, AKI has had continued support of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo, with high budget growth and this support will continue”.

Kurti said AKI successes over the years have contributed to national security by professionally addressing threats from spying, hybrid and wider.

“I am encouraged by the fact that AKI is constantly advancing its technological, analytical and operational capacities, with ambitions and clear objectives, adapting to the new security reality and strengthening co-operation with local institutions and international partners”.

The “Suxessets of AKI over the past few years have contributed to national, regional and wider security, in close co-operation with local institutions and partner services”.

“Threats from spying, hybrid and cyber threats, extremism and radicalism, organised crime and other forms of threats to national security have been dealt with professionally, affecting national security advance”.
