Killing the leader of the mighty drug cartel El Menchoı, Mexico in chaos, shooting at the airport, cancelling flights

According to reports and government sources, he was killed during an armed forces operation in the state of Jalisco.

Immediately after the spread of the news, violent incidents, including burning vehicles, roadblocks, and street clashes, were recorded in areas mainly in Jalisco and Guanajuato. Trucks and burned buses were used to prevent traffic on major roads.

The situation was also tense in Guadalcanal International Airport, where reports of shooting near the facility caused panic, evacuation of terminals and temporary suspension of operations.
