European Foreign Minister Kaya Kallas dismissed today the US allegations that Europe is on the decline and instead portrayed the old continent as upholding freedom and progress standards.
Speaking on the last day of Munich Security ConferenceCallas said Europeans have a brilliant “standard living” that is the envy of people worldwide.
As evidence, she cited a survey showing that 40 per cent of Canadians would like to join the EU, the Clankosova broadcast. tv
Its statements are a response to statements in the new US national security strategy, which says that Europe is in <x0 urbanisation <x0werres” due to migration, cultural and religious changes and a decline in birth level. The document says Europe can be the unknown “” within 20 years.
