Indented robbery to appropriate 1400 euros, suspect in Malisheva is detained

A person has been arrested in the village of Lazica in Malisheva under suspicion of insulting a case of robbery.

According to police, the suspect with the initial J. K, a quick post worker, had claimed that two people -- under the threat of a knife -- had received a briefcase of 1400 euros.

“After receiving information, the relevant police units within the Malishev Police Station and Regional Investigation Sector have reacted immediately, taking intensive investigative action, including securing the site, gathering and analyzing evidence, as well as interviewing the complainers.

“As a result of professional work, rapid investigations and comprehensive analysis of evidence by police officials, it has been found that the reported case had not occurred and was insisted by the complainer himself with the intention of illegal embezzlement of financial means. The suspect has accepted the case and shown the location where he had hidden the money, which was found and seized”, police say in a statement. The financial tools have returned to the corresponding side.

With the decision of the competent prosecutor, the case “has been initiated against suspects False announcement or confession”, and the same has been banned for 48 hours.
