The government left veterans out of state council for KLA Age, they are forced to establish it themselves

As a result, the War Veterans Organization O VL- The KLA, along with other categories, has established the organisational council for the organisation and co-ordination of memorial and ceremonial activities under this historic event.

According to the OVL, even if they received an invitation from the Kosovo government, they would not participate because of, as they say, insults and neglect of them for six years.

Vice Chairman of War Veterans Organisation O VL- KLA, Gazmend Syla told Kosovo Preress that they were obliged to establish this council so they do not stay out of the organisation.

Because we were not included in the state council that created the Government of the Republic of Kosovo, in some form we were forced as associations out of the war, to have special care in these historic days. That's why we thought that we could also create a council, in this case with some personalities, that they contributed, in fact, are the founders of the Kosovo Liberation Army, then KLA fighters. Of course, their names are more likely for their symbol, for their activities, which they had for the liberation of”, Syla said.

He said the organisations would be important to take place together with the institutions, even though it is unacceptable for them to participate in a country where the member is Mimoza Kusari-Lila, who had sought the removal of veterans from the minimum wage increase or other insults by members of the government, including Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti.

Syla said the same should understand that in the chairs where they sat today, it is built on liberation sacrifices.

It requires a reflection on the part of state institutions.

Unfortunately it's been six years since we have no communication with our institutions.
