Asked by the judge to prove his argument that Wessel's refusal in Kosovo for most of that time means that he had no control, lawyer Dixon said: “Distance in itself does not change the” obligations.
“Legal obligations do not fade in itself because of distance, but should keep in mind and concentrate on whether this has had practical impact. We said the prosecution should prove that my client, in fact, had a command role and control over an individual to any person in Kosovo”.
