“Decent 45 years, burial alive”, Rama attacks The Hague: Stupid prosecutor, worse than Serbia's prosecutors

Prime Minister Edi Rama has erupted in Pristina today against the Special Court in The Hague, which has been set up to try Kosovo Liberation Army leaders (UÇK). He has named the Special Prosecutor as a “idiotic prosecutor”, charging that they have become political instruments, worse than Serbia's prosecutors. Rama has expressed [...]
Rama has expressed his indignation at the way the process is under way in The Hague, stressing that it is a catastrophe for justice and for many democratic states who follow this process in silence. He has accused the international community of failing to act and of remaining silent in the face of this process, which is jeopardising to bring penalties for the four KLA leaders.
Rama has sharply criticised the Special Court, stressing that it has been used as a means to condemn Kosovo leaders, despite major achievements. The KLA in the fight for Kosovo's liberation. His comments were made in a period when discussions and controversy over the Special Court process and charges against KLA leaders have intensified in Kosovo and beyond.
It's the stupid prosecutor. They are not only idiots, but instruments even more political than courts in Serbia, in relation to Kosovo. By the laws of time, if we refer to it, when the war occurred, if the KLA did not win the war and the people would not be released, in the courts of that Serbia no one would judge. 45 years, burial for human life. International justice, funded by democratic states that continue to follow this catastrophe for Europe and the democratic world for four completely innocent people. This makes it sad for us today to raise a question of ourselves what we can and should do! I don't have the answer to that.”, he said.
