The first reading budget vote for 2026 met with opposition parties that asked for more time to review the document of about 700 pages.
Opposition deputies have claimed they should read the document to be able to make concrete proposals.
Afterwards, Haxhiu called for consultation to chiefs of parliamentary groups and decided to postpone the session.
The proposed budget is worth 4 billion euros. To enter into force as law, the budget must also be approved in second reading.
