Defence Minister Luke Pollard told the BBC that the measure that would prevent Andrew from ever becoming King was the <x0th possible thing to do”, despite the result of the police investigation.
Currently Andrew, the King's brother, remains eighth in line for the throne despite his titles, including that of “pricist”, last October due to pressure for his connections with paedophile sponsor Jeffrey Epstein.
On Thursday evening, Andrew was released 11 hours after his arrest on suspicion of poor conduct in public office. He has repeatedly and firmly denied any wrongdoing.
