Over 400,000 foreigners visited Kosovo at the end-of-year

According to the AKS, during December 2025 in Kosovo hotels there were a total of 68 thousand and 293 visitors, of whom 27 thousand and 776 were local visitors, while 40 thousand and 517 visitors were foreigners.

Compared to December 2024, when 64 thousand and 380 visitors were registered, the total number of visitors increased by 6.1 percent.

The total number of net concentrations was 132 thousand and 148, out of which 71 thousand and 624 nights (54.2 percent) were made by foreign visitors, while 60 thousand and 524 net stays (45.8 percent) by local visitors.

 

 

As for domestic visitors, the Pec region leads with the largest number of visitors, totaling 9 thousand and 655, as well as 26 thousand and 550 net stays. The significant growth of local visitors has also been marked in the Pristina and Prizren region, while the decline has been observed in several other regions.

Meanwhile, the number of foreign visitors has scored 2.5 percent increase compared to December 2024. In total, during December 2025, Kosovo has been visited by 40 thousand and 517 foreign tourists, with the largest number being from Albania, Germany, Switzerland and Turkey.
