(5 months ago)The Republic of Kosovo tomorrow celebrates the 18th anniversary of its declaration of Independence, with a series of solemn manifestations throughout the country, organised by the Office of Prime Minister and state institutions. The manifestations programme starts early in the morning with the establishment of the Kosovo Flag in the Government Court at 7: 00 a.m., and then continues with solemn government meetings and honours at the Monument of the Apostles, the Memorial Table of Killed Children, and the homazhe at former president Dr. Ibrahim Rugova and the Ademi Demaci event.
At 09 o'clock, the visit to the Memorial Complex “Adem Jashari” in Prekaz is envisioned, while at 10:30 the Kosovo Assembly solemn session begins. In the afternoon, the programme includes honours at the Heroin Monument and the parade of Kosovo Security Force and Kosovo Police troops on the Luan Haradinaj road.
In the evening, by 17:30, Kosovo's president, the Speaker of the Parliament and the prime minister will host state guests pending solemnity, while 8:00 a.m. marks the Kosovo Philharmonic's solemn concert at the Red Hall of the Youth Palace.
