Organisers of the Miss Universe beauty contest have published the latest information on the state of Miss Jamaica Dr. Gabrielle Henry, who was seriously injured when he fell off the stage during the preliminary night of the competition on November 19th. “Dr. Henry fell and was seriously injured during her afternoon slide on November 19th 2025, resulting in an intraracial bleeding with a loss of consciousness, a fracture, facial cracks and other serious injuries”, said the latest statement, released on Monday, December 8th.
As it was said, the injured woman “was immediately sent to an intensive care unit in Bangkok, where she was admitted to hospital in critical condition under constant monitoring, while continuing to seek specialized 24-hour care”.
According to the same update, Henry is expected to return to Jamaica in the coming days, accompanied by a full medical “equip” and be sent directly to the hospital for continued treatment and rehabilitation.
Miss Universe said it covered Henry's hospital hospital, medical care and rehabilitation costs in Thailand. The international organisation also noted that it has covered the costs of accommodation of its mother and sister throughout their stay abroad. /Periscope/
