The EBU member broadcasters had until mid-December 2025 to submit their official applications to compete at Eurovision 2026.
Five of these countries are directly prequalified for the Grand Final, which will take place on May 16, 2026: France, Germany, Italy and the United Kingdom as well as host country, Austria.
The other countries will compete in one of the two semifinals, scheduled on 12 May and 14 May 2026. The semifinal tournament is expected to be launched on January 12th, 2026. /Periscope/
