The two former ministers, representatives of the Social Democrat Initiative, are charged with corruption regarding oil licenses, has told Paparaci a close source of the prosecution.
The prosecution, in a media communiqué on Friday, said it has proposed to the court that suspects be pronounced the supplementary punishment of stopping public office exercises.
“Supporting Article 62 of Penal Code, The PSRK has proposed that, in addition to the main sentence, the defendants will also be pronounced the additional sentence: Banning the exercise of functions in public administration or in public service”, the Special Prosecutor's Community says.
