Vitia says that within the year, law enforcement begins that prohibits drug abuses

Vitia has stressed that by May 16th all awards will take place, as the Law envisions, and that two filter mechanisms have been formed so as not to be abused at the price.

Last “Vitin in the parliament of the Republic of Kosovo has passed the Law on the leveling of drug prices. This Law is in the implementation phase. By May 16th, all awards will be presented as the law envisions, but in this direction, we have formed two filter mechanisms not to be abused at the price. In addition to the prices coming from the manufacturer, we have the reference prices from the region and with the implementation of this law that will take place this year not only pharmacists who will be happy in this direction but all citizens of the Republic will be usually happy because we will say once and for all good stop but legally the abuses that have occurred with the prices of drugs”, Minister Vitita for Online Economics has said.

Minister Vitita has said there have been cases where a drug in other countries has had a certain amount, and we have sold it to us twice or triple the price and where often, according to him, it is unfair that pharmacists are charged.

There's a bar that's costing us in other countries with a certain amount that we've sold by double or triple where pharmacists are often falsely accused of this phenomenon and therefore, in coordination with them, in co-ordination with all the other factors is done and is in final stages, presenting these prices to be implemented. This Law is extremely important”, Vitia said.
The minister of Health has said that working groups are working with full intensity in this direction and that they expect that sometime after the second half of this year will begin with implementation.

“We have had several delays in terms of the commission and certain administrative procedures that have lasted a few months, and now with full intensity the working groups are working in this direction. What I said on May 16th is expected to release all prices and then start at the time-term Law that has the Law's terms of complaints and other deadlines that we expect will begin sometime after the second half of this year to begin with implementation. As for citizens, there are hundreds of thousands of euros that citizens of the Republic of Kosovo will save because it will be the ceiling of these prices and can no longer be played at prices, as was done earlier”, Vitita has said. / EO
