Judge Suspended in Enver Sekiraq case

The Kosovo Judiciary Council has held a meeting today from which it has announced that a judge who is being investigated has suspended it.

The Council, after reviewing and analyzing two disciplinary cases, has established investigative panels. As for the AD/CDR case for4/2024/ J T HPR-AD/GTHPR/8/24, the Council, based on the demand of the majority competent authority of the vote, ruled that the judge, who is subject to the investigation, was subject to another Council decision”, reportedly.

The Council reportedly estimated that the suspension of the subject of the investigation, at this phase of the procedure, would create preconditions for the investigative panel to investigate the issue independently, objectively and uninhibited.
