Under the decision, the reference to Krasniqi has been requested to the claim of sexual harassment in relevant investigative organs.
The Ethics Council of the University of Pristina has recommended taking the measure for the provisional suspension of Prof. Dr. Gevat Krasniiti and has been requested reference to the claim of sexual harassment in the relevant bodies of the Republic of Kosovo investigative under the framework of relevant norms”.
The Ethics Council reportedly remembers that the denouncing presented to Dzevat Krasniqi relates to two segments: Disappreciation and sexual harassment.
2 / 1 The Ethics Council would resume with automatism and according to official duty the disciplinary procedure against Prof. Dr. Genvat Krasniiti after completing the investigative actions of competent state bodies regarding claims of sexual harassment. The Ethics Council has neither legal competence nor the capacity and expertise needed to conduct investigations and make investigative findings for acts of criminal character. Until this stage, the Ethics Council has undertaken all procedure actions and has addressed all available facts and evidence, including claims of sexual harassment, as well as student evaluations in recent years for the performance of Professor Krasniqi at the Faculty of Medicine and Education, as presented in detail in the fact-deposit section. In this sense, the Ethics Council recalls that the denounced presented is related to two segments: (I) Disappreciation and (2) sexual harassment.
